Confirmed departure 24 May (discounted price) Day 1 – Tirana • Krujë • Shkodër • Durrës Depart from Tirana and travel to Krujë, the medieval center of Albanian resistance. Visit Krujë Castle, dramatically positioned on a rocky hill, and explore the Skanderbeg Museum, dedicated to Skanderbeg, who led the 15th-century resistance against the Ottoman Empire. Stroll through the cobbled Old Bazaar of Krujë, filled with traditional wooden shops and handicrafts. Continue to Shkodër to visit the legendary Rozafa Castle, offering panoramic views over Lake Shkodra and surrounding rivers. Overnight in Durrës. Day 2 – Durrës • Berat Morning tour of Durrës, one of the oldest cities in the Balkans, including the impressive Roman Amphitheatre of Durrës, dating back to the 2nd century AD. Drive to Berat, a UNESCO-listed city known as the “City of a Thousand Windows.” Explore Berat Castle, still inhabited today, and wander through the Ottoman-era Mangalem Quarter and Gorica Quarter, famous for their white stone houses cascading down the hillside. Optional wine tasting at Cobo Winery. Overnight in Berat. Day 3 – Berat • Gjirokastër • Sarandë Travel south to Gjirokastër, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its stone architecture. Visit Gjirokastër Castle, dominating the Drino Valley, and tour the preserved Ottoman Skenduli House. Walk through the traditional bazaar before continuing toward the Ionian coast. Optional visit to the natural spring Blue Eye, famous for its crystal-clear turquoise waters. Arrive in Sarandë, enjoy a seaside promenade walk, and visit Lëkurësi Castle for sunset views. Overnight in Sarandë. Day 4 – Sarandë • Butrint • Riviera • Vlorë Explore Butrint National Park, a UNESCO site showcasing layers of Greek, Roman, Byzantine, and Venetian history within a stunning natural setting. Relax at the turquoise Ksamil Beaches before driving along the spectacular Albanian Riviera. Optional stop at Porto Palermo Castle. Overnight in Vlorë. Day 5 – Vlora • Karavasta • Tirana Stop at Karavasta Lagoon, one of the largest lagoons in the Mediterranean, known for its rich birdlife. Return to Tirana for a guided city tour including Skanderbeg Square, Et'hem Bey Mosque, and the vibrant Blloku district. Tour ends in Tirana in the evening
