We start driving to Saghmosavank monastery,13th century monument located high on the canyon Kasakh. Monastery was one of the most important complexes in ancient Armenia also was an academy, which gave many writers, public figures. Behind the monastery is the canyon of river Kasakh,a deep and beautiful canyon which will fill your emotions with its beautiful view to Ararat mountain. After we will continue driving to Mountain Ara and visit Tsakhkevank cave church,called after st. Barbara. Rocks round there will hug you with their unbelievable beauty. If you like hiking here we will have about 2 kilometers easy hiking,or we can rent a local off-road car to pass the 2 km.
