Description
Discover the El Gouna desert on a quad or MX bike. A million years ago, this area was under the sea. As you zip through the canyon, keep your eyes peeled for evidence of this bygone era in the shells and corals.
Desert bike safaris are perfect for beginners and those looking to try out something new and outdoorsy while in Egypt. The motorized bikes have been made accessible for everyone and are easy to operate. Get picked up from your hotel and transferred to the bike club, where you will go through an operational briefing and safety instructions.
Ride along the dunes across the desert, or opt for an ocean-view tour, passing the canyon area and then zipping up the mountains at 350 feet. The club has different tracks for amateurs and professional drivers. You can make your selection after seeing the tracks for yourself on the day of the tour.

- What to Provide: Passport copy, nationality, hotel name, address, and room number
- Pickup Confirmation: Will be sent at 10:00 PM the night before via email/WhatsApp
- Pickup Day: Look for white/black bus with GoShalabi logo. Wait at your hotel's main entrance by the road (not reception). Be ready on time - 5-minute wait only
- Pickup Windows: Hurghada hotels: ±60 minutes. Extended areas (Makadi, Sahl Hasheesh, El Gouna, Soma Bay, Safaga): ±90 minutes
- Extended Areas: Didn't book long-distance pickup? Pay at the harbor. No cancellations after 6:00 PM the day before
