Start with pickup from Sharm El Sheikh and travel through the Sinai Peninsula to Taba. From here, take a ferry across the Gulf of Aqaba to Jordan. Make your way to the gorge of Ma'an, where the ancient city of Petra can be found. A UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New Wonders of the World, the city was once described as being 'forgotten by the world for over 1,000 years'.
