Description
Begin your trip with a pick-up from your hotel in Luxor. Head to the west bank of Luxor to visit the Valley of the Kings, also known as the Valley of the Gates of the Kings.
See 3 tombs in the Valley of the Kings, including the famous Tomb of Tutankhamun. Afterward, visit the Valley of the Queens to see the tombs of queens, princesses, and other high-ranking officials.
Then, head to the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Located opposite the city of Luxor, it is considered to be a masterpiece of ancient architecture. Marvel at its 3 massive terraces that rise above the desert floor and into the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari.
Next, go to the Colossi of Memnon, where you'll see the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant.
Afterward, continue on to Karnak Temple, dedicated to god Amun, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu to represent the Theban Triad. Learn about the history and mythology of this place from your guide.
Finish off your tour with a visit to the Luxor Temple, built by Amenhotep III and completed by Ramses II. Get dropped off back at your hotel in Luxor at the end of the tour.
