Description
This is a one-day guided tour from Sharm El Sheikh to Cairo, visiting the Giza Pyramids, Egyptian Museum, and Khan El Khalili Bazaar. It starts and ends at Cairo Airport.
Your day begins with a 5:30 am hotel pickup in Sharm El Sheikh. You will be transferred to Sharm El Sheikh airport to catch an 8:30 am flight to Cairo, arriving at 9:30 am. At Cairo airport, meet your expert tour guide who will assist you and transfer you by private air-conditioned vehicle to Giza.
Begin the tour at the Egyptian Museum, home to over 250,000 authentic artifacts spanning 5,000 years of Egyptian history. Highlights include the collection of treasures, gold, and jewelry from Tutankhamun’s tomb, discovered in the 1920s.
Next, visit the Great Pyramids of Giza: Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos. Cheops is the largest pyramid ever built. Afterward, view the nearby Sphinx, a funerary monument with a lion’s body and the face of King Chephren.
Continue to Khan El Khalili Bazaar, a marketplace known for brassware, copper items, perfumes, leather goods, silver, gold, and antiques. After shopping, return to Cairo airport to board a 10:30 pm flight back to Sharm El Sheikh, arriving at 11:30 pm. A local representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you back to your hotel.
