The drive to Komani Lake includes a coffee and snack break with restroom facilities after approximately two hours. The journey continues with a guided introduction to the region and landscape over a further 1.5 hours, including some potentially bumpy roads due to construction.
Upon arrival at Komani Lake dam, you will walk through a 7-minute tunnel to reach the boat. Enjoy a one-hour boat ride across the lake, featuring mountain, forest, and clear-water views, perfect for photography.
At Shala River, enjoy free time for swimming, relaxing, lunch, or drinks by the river. Optionally, take a guided hike to the Shala River viewpoint for additional views.
The return trip follows the same route, with a stop for a short break and toilets on the way back to Tirana.
