Description
Depart early from Baku and travel through the Azerbaijani countryside toward the mountain region. Your first stop is Shamakha for a traditional breakfast featuring local specialties such as mountain honey, Shamakha cheese, and fresh omelets.
Continue through the Ismayilli Forests for a tea break amidst the natural surroundings. Upon arrival in Sheki, visit the 18th-century Sheki Khans’ Palace, known for its stained glass windows, intricate carvings, and frescoes.
The tour includes a visit to the historic Sheki Caravanserai, a former Silk Road resting stop now home to shops selling local crafts, silk, jewelry, and Sheki’s famous halva sweets. Afterwards, enjoy panoramic views of the city and mountains from Sheki Panoramic Park.
