Day 1: The Heart of the Desert & The Cave Experience • Morning Kick-off: We start from Wadi Rum village heading to Lawrence’s Spring, then to the high Red Sand Dunes for a panoramic view. • Ancient History: Explore Khazali Canyon to see the Nabataean and Thamudic inscriptions, the Small Arch, and Lawrence’s House. • Traditional Lunch: At noon, we find a secluded shaded spot where your guide will cook a fresh Bedouin lunch over an open fire. • Afternoon Exploration: Head to the famous Mushroom Rock, then hike through Barrah Canyon and Abu Khashaba Canyon (a beautiful narrow valley filled with desert trees). • Adventure: Experience Sandboarding on the dunes and visit the majestic Um Frouth Rock Bridge for a climb and photos. • Sunset & Star-Sleep: Watch the sunset, then head to our private cave. Enjoy an authentic Bedouin dinner and a night spent under the stars for the ultimate desert immersion. Day 2: The Deep South, Bedouin Culture & The White Desert • Morning Expedition: After breakfast, we journey south to Jabal Al-Hash. Here, we will enjoy an easy scramble/climb to the summit for a breathtaking view of the Saudi Arabian border. • Authentic Encounter: Visit local nomadic Bedouins in their traditional setting. You will share a traditional lunch with them, experiencing true desert hospitality and their way of life. • Hidden Gems: After lunch, we drive to the Naghra Viewpoint for a stunning panorama, followed by a visit to Idhazdhagh. • The White Desert: Explore the unique White Desert area, known for its distinct pale sand and peaceful atmosphere. • Sunset & Camp Comfort: Witness a magical sunset in the southern wilderness, then return to Desert Tree Camp.
