Begin your day with a tatreez embroidery class led by the Beit Sitti-connected women's artisan cooperative. Be welcomed with tea, learn the pattern vocabulary of Levantine embroidery, and spend three hours stitching a personal piece on a mounted hoop to take home. Enjoy stories, laughter, and genuine cultural exchange during the session. Next, walk or take a short taxi to the Amman Citadel (Jabal Al-Qala'a), one of the oldest continuously inhabited sites in the world. Your guide will lead a 45-minute walk covering the Roman Temple of Hercules, the Umayyad Palace, and the Iron Age fortifications. Take in panoramic views of Amman's 19 hills from the Citadel. Finally, descend from the Citadel toward Rainbow Street, arriving at Sufra Restaurant. Set in a beautiful early 20th-century villa, the restaurant serves traditional Jordanian cuisine with exceptional outdoor views of the city.
