Step beyond your hotel routine and spend a full day in Hurghada’s desert, combining quad biking, camel rides, cultural touches, dinner, and stargazing under the open sky. This is not a racing activity but a guided adventure designed to balance thrill and safety with moments of calm, making it one of the most rewarding ways to explore Egypt’s Red Sea desert. With flexible programs, multiple transfer options, and customizable add-ons, it offers an experience suited to every traveler.
Your trip begins with a shared hotel pickup, or you may head directly to the quad base if you choose the entry-only ticket. Transfer times depend on your location: about 25–30 minutes from Makadi Bay or Sahl Hasheesh, 40–45 minutes from Hurghada, and up to an hour from Al Ahyaa, El Gouna, Soma Bay, or Safaga. Guests who prefer faster and more comfortable travel can add private transfers at checkout. Travelers are encouraged to bring only essentials and leave valuables at the hotel.
At the base, the desert team provides a safety briefing and a short driving test to make sure all participants feel confident. Drivers must be at least 16 years old, and reckless riding is not permitted. Once ready, you’ll ride across desert valleys, sandy plains, and dunes with views stretching toward the Red Sea. Stops are included for photos and moments to take in the vast silence of the desert.
Every tour also includes a camel ride of about five minutes, mainly for photos and the experience of traditional desert travel. Guests wishing to enjoy more time on camelback can upgrade to a 30-minute ride.
You can select from several programs. Independent guests may prefer the 2H Quad Bike — Without Transfer (Entry Ticket Only). The 2H Quad Bike — Hurghada, Sahl Hasheesh, Makadi Bay includes shared hotel transfers, while the same two-hour adventure is also available with pickup from Al Ahyaa, El Gouna, Soma Bay, or Safaga.
For those who want to experience the desert in its calmest hours, the 5:00 AM sunrise ride is available and is the only tour that includes a traditional Oriental breakfast. Guests must select the sunrise departure when booking to enjoy this feature.
The 1H Quad + 1H Horse — Special Combo Tour is another option, available early morning in all locations. It combines one hour of quad biking with one hour of horseback riding, offering both speed and tradition while the desert air is cool.
Guests who wish to embrace the desert atmosphere in the evening can book the 2H Quad Bike — Stargazing, Dinner & Show. This program includes a sunset quad ride, a short camel session, and then continues at a Bedouin-style camp with an Oriental dinner, live entertainment, and stargazing under the clear night sky.
Additional add-ons such as private guides, extended camel rides, private transfers, or even a 30-minute buggy ride are available to personalize your adventure further.
