Fares Seafood wasn’t bad overall, but the prices are a bit high. Also, not all the fish and seafood seemed fresh. It wasn’t a terrible experience, but it definitely didn’t meet expectations.
We had a strange experience at this restaurant. When we arrived, we were immediately asked to choose seafood and fish without even seeing the menu. We felt pressured, so we picked a few items without specifying the quantity. Once seated, a waiter gave us the menu, which was confusing since we had already ordered. It felt like they wanted us to order even more. They also brought appetizers we didn’t ask for. Later, they served a huge seafood platter: 6 grilled fish, 15 fried shrimp, and a large portion of fried calamari. It was far too much for the 2 of us —we never asked for that quantity. We spoke to the manager, who corrected the situation by reducing the order. If we hadn’t said anything, we would have wasted a lot of food and paid around $70, which is very expensive for 2 persons compared to other restaurants here. The food is good and si think it's still worth going, but I strongly recommend waiting until you are seated and have the menu before ordering, and being very clear about quantities. Don’t let the staff pressure you ;).
I visited Fares Seafood Restaurant with my family and friends, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. We ordered fish, rice, and tahina sauce. The sauces we received were different from what we expected. The rice was served freezing cold and looked like leftovers — it even had different colors on the same plate. As for the fish, it definitely did not taste fresh. Overall, the quality of the food and the experience were below expectations. I hope the restaurant improves its food freshness and service in the future.
The service and atmosphere were fantastic — I honestly wish I could rate them higher than five stars. Unfortunately, the food itself lacked flavor. We ordered , seafood soup (which was excellent), lobster, jumbo shrimp, and Senjari fish, and for the price we paid, I expected the dishes to taste better.
